I understand :) I can't resist my self to write down my vision - I'd try to set focus on the lake, to blur out everything in the background (or use PS for that). The burnt-out sky would be blurred, the whitey mouintains would be blurred, while the reflection in the lake would show the "true beauty". Something like "the reflection is sometimes better than the original" ;)

yeah tbh the lighting was horrible :/ if i uploaded the original you would be horrified.. but thanks for the advice! im going to this place again in a few months, the colours will be greener and more vivid then, also the sky will have some clouds, cant wait!

Since you say about the "horrible lighting", I suspect you were shooting as jpeg - am I right?
